SURYA SEN

HOUSE / TECH HOUSE / UKG / RAP / 90'S CLUB / HIP HOP

A North London-based British-Bengali producer, rapper, and DJ, Surya Sen has become a radical presence in the UK scene, bridging the gap between high-energy House and the grit of North London hip-hop. Named after the legendary Bangladeshi revolutionary, Sen’s sound is a "hip-house" evolution—blending the playful pop-sensibility of Channel Tres with the technical confidence of a grime MC.

House is the engine, but the journey spans deep Detroit grooves, Chicago-inspired swing, and Bengali-vocal hooks. This signature style has earned him "One to Watch" status from The Guardian, Mixmag, and NME, alongside a Best Mixtape nomination at the UK AIM Awards for his debut project At What Cost? on the legendary Skint Records. His tracks, like the viral "Jessica" and "Buccho Ni Ba Bhai," have become festival staples, garnering support from industry heavyweights like Pete Tong, Diplo, and The Blessed Madonna.

A force on the live circuit, Sen’s high-impact sets have landed him on the BBC Introducing stage at Reading & Leedsand headlining Glastonbury’s first-ever South Asian stage, Arrivals. Whether he’s supporting Joy (Anonymous) and Barry Can’t Swim on tour or closing out warehouse sets at Fabric and Studio 338, he brings a raw, infectious energy. Now signed to ULTRA (Sony), Surya Sen continues to push into his own lane, blending his heritage with peak-time club anthems that keep global dancefloors locked in.
